About Us
Welcome to the website of the Utah-Idaho District Lutheran Women in Mission! Our mission is to develop and maintain a mission consciousness among the women of the district and to assist them in using their gifts to the glory of the Triune God. LWML is an auxiliary organization of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
The Utah-Idaho District serves Northern Utah, Southern Idaho and Northeast Oregon. We have more than 650 members in 36 societies in 4 zones (Utah, Western, Central, and Yellowstone.

2010 LWML Prayer Service Now Available
“Beautiful Feet” is the theme of the 2010 LWML Prayer Service authored by Reverend Philip Esala. The theme is based on one of the 2009 Portland LWML Convention verses — How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7
The Prayer Service was created to reinforce the objectives from the LWML 2009 Portland Convention and is available as a free download from the LWML Website at :
